Tanné Snowden's Must Haves

For an edu­cated opin­ion on beauty, style or wellness, ask Tanné Snowden. The founder of body care brand Tronque does her research. Whether it’s water filters, infrared beauty devices, bronzers with stay­ing power and the best clean pig­ment, or a new stock­ist of Alaïa vin­tage dresses, Snowden gath­ers the intel, val­ues quality and appre­ciates a wise invest­ment.

It was research into heal­ing the scars left by sur­gery for endo­met­ri­osis, com­bined with the discov­ery that endo­crine disruptors are com­monly found in per­sonal care products, that led to Snowden devel­op­ing the luxe skin care line that’s ‘clean ,pant-based, sci­en­tific­ally-proved and respons­ibly made in New Zea­l­and’. The latest addi­tion is Neck & De col­letage Elixir which launches next month.

Tronque now has 154 stock­ists in New Zea­l­and, Aus­tralia and Europe.

Its biggest emer­ging market is the United States, which is one of the reas­ons why, last year, the Auck­lander upped sticks and moved to New York.

Liv­ing with her New Yorker fiancé in Jer­sey City (“A lot quieter and cheaper than New York, it’s like the new Brook­lyn and five minutes on the subway from down­town”), she’s now fully accli­mat­ised to the New York style scene. From the women who “wear cou­ture and full glam”, to the “girls who can make a cas­ual outfit look so cool and undone”, and the “people walking on the street or sub­way who, you can tell, have just had micro-need­ling done. They don’t care and I love that so much”, says Snowden. “You can really be your­self here.”

Tanné Must Haves:
